Beginning January 13, 2020, our transit routes and prices will change. Current route schedules and prices are listed here on our website.
Warner Robins Transit is a privately-owned and operated Public Transit System in Houston County.
In order to sustain our services, we must increase our prices.
While most public transportation systems are supported by government funding from federal, state and local municipalities for operations and capital needs, we are only supported on a partial basis by the Houston County Commissioners with T-SPLOSTS funds to assist with purchasing buses.
We really appreciate the Commissioners for putting that referendum on the 2018-2024 T-SPLOST Budget. Warner Robins Transit staff would like to thank the Houston County Commissioners for their support of public transportation in Houston County.
We would like to thank our other community partners as well, the Warner Robins Houston County Housing Authority, Georgia Military College, Houston County Dept of Health, Volunteers of America, Educare Center Inc., Modern Woodmen of America, Literacy Council of Macon County, Inc., Perfect WorKs, and Macon Regional Crimestoppers for their continued support.
We will be seeking other funding strategies, through grants writing, fundraising, community support and other fee-based services.
Warner Robins Transit is the newest Van Pool for the Tran Serve Transportation Incentive Program at Robins Air Force Base! Our charge for transport to the base is $375 per month, the Transerv benefit is $275. We will also be servicing Peach and Macon Counties soon!
